For Honda civics you can get away with 15x7 +25 without rolling guards, anything more aggressive you will definitely need to roll guards and adjust the suspension ( ride height, camber etc).

I need a full size spare for my Tiguan 235/55/17 but I don't that size can a 205 /65/17 fit as I don't want to raise the floor too high and will a wheel fit off a golf or simular ?

what work would be involved in fitting the following on MK5 Golf GTI (they currently have 235 semi slicks, im alright with changing to 215s or something)

running tein springs (53mm drop)

18x8 ET32 front
18x9 ET38 rear

(some spare forged aluminium wheels i have from one of my old cars)
