Park brake switch issue

    Park brake switch issue

    Not quite sure what the issue was here...



    Epb switch from the in-laws Tiguan.
    Tried cleaning it up but couldn't revive it. Too badly corroded.
    2 min swap for new switch.
    Happy days.

        Kamold: With the greatest respect to your in-laws, it's almost a case of serious park-brake switch abuse!! How did the switch get in this condition - was there a water-leak, or perhaps solvent spilled on the PCB?

          They have a Tig and a b7 Passat. Those cars have a pretty hard life with not much love
