Got apple carplay working in new Golf Alltrack but not wirelesly. Using iphone 6s plus. Phone does not fit in the cubby hole with the cable connected sadly
I'd be interested to hear from anyone else using Android Auto and Spotify. When I drive, I almost exclusively listen to playlists I have downloaded to my phone. When I select the playlist in AA, it starts playing automatically which is a minor annoyance on it's own, but the real problem is when I click the (what I think is) track list icon, nothing comes up. Well, a window does expand to show a space where a track list would normally be present, but it's empty. Just a big white box. Does anyone else experience this?
EDIT: Holy cr*p it seems the turdness is by design. I'm not sure if Apple have this limitation? My next phone is going to support for mirror link or I'll just skip App Connect all together and go back to my phone in a dock.
Ipad can't play your video, mattaus, but that icon isn't for track listing on CarPlay - it's a "Like/Dislike/Cancel" screen, or at least it was before IOS9 - I just tested it now & that icon isn't there anymore.....

Odd, it's on YouTube so it should work regardless of what device you're on?
In regards to Spotify, it's possibly a difference in the app between IOS and Android? I'll keep coming back to try AA, but for now the in built stuff is well enough that the undercooked Spotify integration is a minor (but frustrating) issue. My main desire with the connected devices was the ease (and safety) of receiving and sending messages, but Google's implementation leaves a lot to be desired.

Is there a way of accessing music Folders when using SD cards and USB? So far I can only seem to access Albulm titles. I have looked through the manual but I must be doing something wrong as Ive had zero luck, cheers.
Nothing beyond this thread and a few mentions scattered elsewhere that I'm aware of.
OK, sweet. I know most people seem to be using Carplay (sheep!*) and maybe I'm the only one who has anything to say about it, but I feel it could use it's own thread even if it'll be rarely discussed.
* Joking. Or am I?
