Is it me, or are they just making these units worse and worse with each firmware release. I'm getting to the point that I don't even want this unit anylonger. Its not showing its 800 dollar value, more like the 150 dollar value that the customs paper showed.

Dunno what you guys are doing but my 810 is working fine for me. Maybe its because i'm not using SD, though? *shrugs*

@Sandy, any updates? I know its a Chinese holiday at the moment, but hopefully there is an update soon.

Yeah I use SD all the time as I find the tuner is kinda crap, all I can hope for is a return unit that's better than this in both sd world GPS world and tuner world.

My tuner is now randomly losing signal now too, joy

Yep, I see no improvements happening with that, if anything its getting worse. There should be a lemon law here.... I cant even resell the replacement unit with how badly things are with these units.

I cringe thinking about the ans unit I have sitting for my dads car. Hope its not like this unit, I have my doubts tho.

Been swapping between iPod/SD/Nav, still same issues as before, but no actual full crashes or anything like that.

anyone else just given' up on these units from china? i have a t1 touareg. when i heard they wont have the casing done in time of launch "which was... a year ago?" i was bummed now its just not likely to even turn up in the cars lifetime.

Yeah... me too. But waiting for more than a year... I'm less excited as time goes by...

If the unit I get still has issues, I will be returning it and getting a refund, as I haven't seen really any improvements on the documented issues since day 1 of the release. Its more frustrating than anything else

I've been following this a year now. Glad I didn't buy it, what a nightmare. Part of me still hopes Audiosource gets there **** together. But I think I'd rather either do a cheap USB Chinese rcd510 unit, or a cheaper Android unit... because, Android

Well, I haven't even gotten any word on a replacement unit being sent out yet for me and its been a week. Might look for something today and request a refund instead of a replacement as it sounds like even the replacement units aren't much better than the 'pre-releases' which is sad.

We have seen next to no improvements on these units, more setbacks then improvments, we are also stuck waiting a month or more between firmware updates, which are just more letdowns then anything. Its frustrating and I still don't see where the 800 dollars is.

Hell, there are capacive touchscreen android units out there that look just as good if not better than this. Just watching a few videos on a Pure Andoide 4.1 unit and wow, it blows this DNS unit out of the water...
