Can anyone that grabbed the v6 maps iso before the link was taken down upload it to a slightly more user-friendly site than dropbox? It would be very much appreciated!

Use Google Drive, no traffic limit. If you have Gmail you already have Google Drive. Not sure what you mean by more user friendly though, since a Dropbox link is direct download.

Much appreciated mate - downloaded very quickly. I note that the file is not an .iso file though - is it just a matter of creating an .iso from the files downloaded?

I uploaded it as an ISO It says its an ISO It downloads as an ISO so I guess it really is

I just redownloaded it and using Imgburn I have written the disc

Dont open it once you have downloaded it Go to IMGburn and at the top go to "file" and select source which is where you downloaded it to.
After it loads click on the "Burn" icon in the middle of the screen Only use FOUR speed or lower

The files as you describe will appear on the disc after its written

I down loaded it using WinRAR then Down loaded a free ISO burner and burnt it to a DVD put it in the RSN and all went according to plan

The iso burned fine to a DVD at 8x with ImageBurn — no dramas with install.

When burning, be sure to tick the verify option.

Sensis still need to get off their posteriors and fix the maps, tho' — for instance, the street opposite me (been on the map for at least a century and in Melways for as long as there's been a Melways) isn't there.

It's not Sensis!

It's the knob who either:
1) took a snapshot of their database as at 2012 (Q1) and has taken this long to finally release this; or
2) decided to save some money and just buy last year's map.

It is sensis. Vw dont decide to mark 90kmh roads as 50, throwing the route calculations totally off. Had this all week while I was away.

Can anyone with v5 or earlier maps confirm if Tomago rd is marked as 50 most of the way?

I can't check the speed limit for your road but I have Sensis 2012 Q3 maps (on my iGo Primo of course) and I have yet to spot any wrong speed limits except the most recent roadwork areas.
