    Boost data in MFD

This is done by The CAN BUS. For people who dont have rear parking sensors, then stiff luck, u cant have this feature. But for people who do, winning, well get on it, it is the best convenience option!!!

Including express DHL freight works out to EUR232 / AUD$284. This is the best deal available that I could find from the Autopolar resellers. You can save a few $ on freight by purchasing in quantity (though this doesn't reduce the unit price).
Let me know if you're ordering, I may be interested.

And here's me thinking it was a thread about the Polar FIS+ Advanced module that can give you access to lots of information like boost data in your MFD.

Nice find on the price tigger. May get one of these.

It's a big deal for some of us (with Tigs).

Despite having all the so called correct options mentioned and enabling it, it still doesn't fcuking work.

Here's my MFD with it enabled and I do have parking sensors, park assist & RVC.

It is hoped that this kit somehow does something different that actually might get it to work.

            Hence the discussion.

Based on my process of elimination, I think mirror dipping has something to do with the door controller module being either completely different or wrong coding in the Tig (as compared to the Golf).

I speak from the experience of having to enable flappy paddles via VCDS on a Tig, because it's just not a setting required to be enabled at factory because you don't have the paddles on the stock steering wheel.

Just need to work out which one is it with mirror dipping.

Don't know whether you recall, but a while back a request was made to you to scan and post up your coding for the doors on your Golf R since you have it working there.

Quite frankly, you're definitely the right man for the job since you've also got a Tig as well.

Anyhow are you able to answer that call now?

OK looks like we may be organising a "mini" group buy for anyone in Adelaide. Limit of 3 units to keep the total order under $1,000 so we don't have to pay GST on the import. Myself, Transporter and anyone???

                PM me if you're interested.

Unfortunately member: Prodigy no longer has access to VCDS cable.

So just wondering any member out there (with a Mk6 Golf and mirror dipping working) willing to help?

That is, to scan & post up their door controller module's coding to help prove or dis-prove the door control module theory with the Tig.

                        Should be module no. 52:

I presume you have the little mirror adjust lever set to the Left mirror position? The auto dipping only will work on the left side mirror and only when the knob is set to the left side. (i.e. not centre or R).

Yes ... us Tig owners have tried and followed the instructions associated with this function. But no joy!

                              Boost data in MFD

Have u tries with vcds?? It's under central convenience. Sometime the mfd cannot change it due to its authorization rights in different modules.

If anyone in Melbourne I am more than happy to meet up with u to try with vcds

There are a number of Tiguan owners that have tried... and failed. Aussietig suspects that there is a missing piece of hardware that stores/records the mirror position information.

As Tiguan shares a lot of hardware with Golf 6 we believe there must be a difference in controller modules used somewhere which holds the mirror position data in the higher spec Golf 6. It seems that even the higher spec Tiguans don't get this up spec control module. At the moment we're not sure which one this is.

So even though you can select the option in VCDS if the hardware isn't there to support the function then it won't work.

We'll hopefully find out soon how well the Autopolar FIS+ does the mirror dipping.
