New firmware for RNS510/Columbus versions 4120 and 5210
Can't remember seeing it before either (why would you change it from English)? On a few failed attempts I reinstall 4020 and since it was German I had to reselect English, and both genders were there.
Thanks to The Hawk, I now have the necessary hardware and software to create the custom firmware images we need to correctly partition the drives for Aussie maps.
I've created a test image for 421x and its currently installing on my RNS510. I've also skipped loading of all other languages other than english in the interest of faster install time.
Will update once installed and tested.

I successfully load FW4120 to my HW10 using (as usual) CD+R with CDBurnerXP.
Fade Control and all other functions working well. System start up in Wetzlar Germany (another Continental plant), but change after a couple of meters driving.
Radio Text is a nice new feature and I have the feeling that the voice control is now faster.
Radio stations, Navigation addresses and own POI lost, Music and Map still available.
But:
As already written here but not into another bloody forum : I lost my coding !
The steering wheel work well, but the MFA do not recognize my Navigation nor Radio.
Does somebody know what to change? My dealer already tried, but without luck (honestly he had no idea what to do...)
OK after a few weeks of testing, I'm prepared to release the 4120 firmware with 90/5/5 partition ratios for anyone who's interested.
Keep in mind the following still apply:
1. You NEED to recode your RNS510 after installation. No VCDS, DO NOT install.
2. You will lose your music and maps. You need the map DVD available to reinstall. You also lose custom boot logos.
3. There are only two real new feature over previous version. First is a new male voice guide, second is RDS now working in Aus. This may or may not be useful for some depending what radio stations you listen to as some use it more than others.
4. There is an issue with the spoken directions: it tries to do a text-to-speech for town names, and fails. ie it will say something like, 'take the next exit, then turn right towards DUMMY'. Not sure if this is an issue with our map data (likely) or the firmware itself. I know on the RNS-E in Audis this works however. I used to get 'take the next exit towards Campslie' as it appeared that Campsie was misspelt in the database.
If anyone can recommend a hosting site let me know else I will throw it whereever I can. I asked KimDotcom to host but he was busy getting a backrub from the warden in Auckland gaol.
