New unit is $1300 + GST and installation & coding is $150+GST. It takes about an hour-max90 minutes
We dont have anyone in Brisbane who can do it properly that we cooperate with so you might want to pay us a visit and save $40 on courier to deliver it to your door. We do Saturdays also for our Brisbane clients.
There is no impact on anything on your car and everything will work as if it left the factory, also park assist.
There is no ingerention in the wiring system as well so VW should not void your warranty but this is the question you may want to ask your local VW dealer if you have doubts. Cricks VW in Maroochydore do not void client's warranty to give you an example

I have just purchased a new MK6 Cabriolet for the wife and am looking at getting the RNS 510 installed for Sat Nav.
How much would the cost be for the unit and installation? How long would it take?
We are in Brisbane, so is there a local installer or is it best to have it done in Maroochydore?
Will the installation have an impact on anything currently installed in the car, e.g. part assist? Also will it affect the Volkswagen warranty on the car?

We still do, P version new is $1300+GST for members.
The secret trick is to buy an H and you receive a P as we longer do Hs.

What is the difference with the Q models?

Hi mate

Q models are usually for Chinese market. They operate different frequency and do not wrk in Australia.

Some sellers de-solder the chip on the main board and solder one that is compatible with EU / Australian systems

Sometimes we repair these units when they get a black screen as the chip is not soldered properly.

Once you purchase we will send you the details for the installer. They charge $150 to install & code the radio.

Its a huge problem to find someone in ACT who can do these things properly as far as our experience goes.

Hello I have bought a 2013 beetle with sports pack that I am waiting on dealership delivery. Do you do this unit with gps and a reverse camera to suit the new 2013 beetle ?
Also what is the output of these decks ? Are they powerful enough to run a set ofnice speakers (focal?) Does the deck have pre-outs for an amplifier ?
