RCD 510 Premium * Clock????

Tried various options with no luck. If you the read the documentation carefully re clock it says that it is displayed between the station name and the track name which I assume is a function of the optional DAB radio which we know has a time function that is transmitted from the station itself like digital tv. Tried the other so called options but failed to activate them either

Does anyone know if climate can be displayed on the RCD510 and also is there any firmware updates for this... i'm struggling to even see what version i have?

I can display climate on my rcd510.
SETUP > Display > Climte Display > [OFF, 3 Sec, 10 sec etc]

Yeah that's what I've heard but there is no option for me in that section?
Might I have to get some coding done to activate it or canbus gateway not enabled?

I just checked my car with VCDS (Vag-Com) and I do not have any option or any similar to enable/disable Climate Control Distplay on Radio.

My Mk5 Jetta does have the Latest Dual zone Climatronic (Square Buttons)


not the old Round Dial Climate Control with digital display above the dials.
Maybe if you have the Round Dial Climate Control with Digital diplay you can't diplay it on radio?

Ahh so your saying there isn't an option to make any changes for display climate control on Stereo!???

Wonder what it is then.... Could it be the then Gateway?
