Yes factor in the nuisance of securing an Australian map!

At the moment having a F unit but running our crappy Australian maps, is akin to buying a computer with the latest Intel chip but running Windows XP.

I did ask before if the seller could provide Australian maps and he said he could.... I suppose I will find out for sure when it gets here Ordered last night and it's already marked as shipped (although coming from the UK, the time zones work well for afternoon/evening orders from Australia).

...and now we play the waiting game...

When you do the coding don't forget to change the DVD to region 4 (will likely be set to 2 (UK), even if it comes with Aus maps.

Let use posted once you have successfully installed the unit. Does it come with all the part for easy installation or you have to source parts yourself? Any one here in Melbourne can help me installing this with some $ incentive? I ve got the MK6 GTI with reverse sensor and camera already installed.
