I'm going to bid on this one, since I need the cheap unit for testing and experimenting with after I bought (thanks to Kamold) the software and hardware for modifying and changing various settings in these units. Could also help you, if you get in the trouble after unsuccessful sw upgrade and similar situations.
I might just be on the hunt for one of these units but it's not something I have ever really looked at so was wondering if someone can fill in the gaps for me.
I notice lots of "c" units floating around at the moment? I thought "F" version was the latest? What's the difference?
Is there anything I should know if I wanted to put one in a 2010 Multivan? Or a MkVI Golf?
Is there anyone reputable in Sydney that sources and installs them?
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Mate your at Campbelltown Camden GTI country
Bea can install and code it to your car easily , The best way is for to to install it and get Bea to code it it wont cost much at all.
I didn't think they sourced them, but knew they installed them. eBay is nice and all, but when dropping a four figure sum I'm always more comfortable dealing in person if possible or if I have to deal online it's always nice to have a recommendation from someone who has dealt with that supplier before. (I have read about a few fakes and/or knock offs doing the rounds.)

Most here have bought their RNS510 from Lithuania ,I bought mine over a year ago for less than a $9,50 delivered Version C, with all the Australian and NZ maps installed , they give a 90 day warranty on all units .plus if you pay with Paypal your also covered .
Ive heard of only a few complaints about any RNS 510 bought from either UK Irelandd or Lithuania.
The couple I am looking at are from the UK all in the $1250 - $1600 range with 12 - 24 months warranty of some sort. Got some questions to the sellers now about Aussie maps (since they list Europe ones at the moment). From what I understand in the worst case I can just buy the Aussie maps locally if push comes to shove.
