    Radio options for MK7 Golf

    Hi all, it’s probably been asked before but I cannot come to a positive outcome.
    I’ve got a 4/2013 MK7 TDi Golf. What is the most cost effective, best way to upgrade the Radio unit (Discovery 1 with updated firmware) to something with a bigger screen and has apple play?

    Cheapest is the Chinese RCD520.
    Lots of compromises.

    Proper upgrade is an MIB2 or 2.5 in 8 inch or 9.2.

      I'm currently selling a RCD520 with the usb cable modification to the rear and wireless carlinkit CarPlay adapter. You're welcome to come and try before you buy if you like...

      wireless adapter that plugs in to the rear usb so you don't have a cable hanging out of the front...



      with the usb rear mod, no cable hanging out...



      factory rear camera works too...
