    Auspack Sat Nav/ DVD system

    Can anyone tell me if they have this system installed in Sydney and who installed it for them?

    It seems to be the best available any pros or cons would be very much appreciated.

          There is a huuuge thread about these already going. You need to read through all that to see what is going on with Auspack and the AVC units.

            Sat Nav

            Can anyone tell me if they have purchased the GPS units available on Ebay from Hong Kong? or did anyone ever find out where Auspack in Victoria got the units from?

                        Thanks Polar....

                        So..the scaled overlay, is that viewed all the time? Or does it diminish as you get closer to an object (somehow, I don't think so)? Is the scale accurate? General comments from yourself re the reverse camera set up would be nice.

                            If anyone is looking for an aftermarket with factory look, speak to these guys http://www.polarisgps.com.au/
                            They are Sydney based and do a number of aftermarket, factory look units foir different vehicles, with NAV, DVD, iPod connector, bluetooth, rear view camera option, etc

                            The VW version is not on the site but I believe they have now.
