How do I activate Phone and Star Buttons on my mk5 Golf? (RNS and 9W7 installed)

So with an rns510 and red MFD will there be any phone functionality on the MFD? Or is a white MFD required to utilize the 9w7?

I'm trying to confirm that the 9w7 would be worth the extra money over the 9w2.

Do you have a full height or half height mfd? If half then no phone functions on mfd just on the rns.

Full height. 08 r36 so it sounds like it would be worth getting the 9w7. Thanks

You will also need a fis converter. Check carsystems.eu they have the complete kit.
