You can't restore the fec to the radar if it didn't exist in the car to start with.
So you would need to first patch a 3q0 radar offline to defeat CP and install the required licenses.

Ok mate thanks, sounds like I need to do a bit more research. The hardware side of it sounds easy enough, but nothings ever simple I guess…

1 moment though....if it's a MK7 not 7.5 you can use the older 5Q0 radar which doesn't have FEC...just CP which yes you can remove with ODIS online.

Can anyone in Melbourne help me with an airbag warning on a Passat B7? It was caused by a low battery after the headlights were left on.

After a jump-start everything seems to be working fine, but the warning hasn't gone away - I believe it needs to be cleared manually?
