I have a removable tune on my car. I put it on while still in warranty at about 30,000km. It's been "removed" twice in 8 years / 140,000km. Not a feature I'd bother with again.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Definitely give APR a go, if your ecu type has been tuned before it should be able to be loaded via OBD (diagnostics port). They can load a tune to try before you buy. My local dealer VW Park in Nunawading is fantastic, great customer focus and great service. The prices have come down over the last month given that each Australian APR dealer is now dealing direct with APR USA and avoiding the middleman.
