BTW Hawk how is your stage 2 going? Started going ahead with it yet?

Yeah well that's what guy has basically sold me on today. He said it's more drive able than the most tunes but I don't know how they can say that and then tell me that my car will be the first to get it. But at the same time I do believe guy is extremely trustworthy. I'll try get a bit more info tomorrow.

Yeah you are right. Stock is 240Nm so 270 is honestly barely any increase in torque. I am going to ask again and see what they come back with tomorrow. I don't feel like wasting $1200

I just came to the same realisation!!! I was looking at ft.lb torque not Nm. So now I doubt I will do it. There is a huge difference between the 2 in this case

So I haven't posted any videos or pics of my car yet but I have been doing a fair bit. Just had some ROH evolutionr 18inch rims fitted and I'm so stoked with them. Got Continental MaxContact tyres which are nice and sticky.

I spoke to Guy at Harding Performance today and I have good news. Since they aren't doing APR anymore they have developed their own range of tunes. Next week I am going in to have stage 1 done and I will be having a before and after dyno done which I will post up here. Apparently I will be the first 118TSi to get this tune and should expect around 150kW and 270Nm TQ. Which is a higher torque figure than the APR tune. Anyways I will keep you all up to date.

    Super excited

I saw what I assume is the genuine one yesterday at VITS. They too appear to use the stock mounting point under the airbox although I didn't notice if there was one (or two) at the front as well.

What would a setup like this set us back?
    Thanks ope126,

I am still looking into it but I am hoping to be able to do them for $350 if I can find some of the parts cheaper.

    I will keep you posted.

(and yeah, it's amazing how much noise the stock airbox cuts out!)

You can't just go posting pictures and descriptions on the internet like that without a video mate!
    Chop chop

    Looks nice.

I've received my R8 coil packs but I've got other plans for them now. So if anyone just wants the 118TSI adapter let me know.
