Not sure on stage. All the per pics grouped wi these say Stage 2 Motorsport, though the graphs indicate Performance tune only. Something to go by though.

Yes ^^ - those were the results that were posted up a few months ago here and on vwgolf.net and followed by a bunch of reasons as to why it wasnt the right tune etc etc. Theres about 10 pages ot it under the Carformance sponsor section.

Thanks. Couldn't find anything on here before. Would have saved a lot of dramas... Will check it out. Thanks.
Are you still happy with your DNA Tune? Who did you go through? I know you did your dyno at Revesby, we're they good?MY12 Golf R | 5 Dr | Candy White | DSG | 19"Black Talladegas | ACC | RNS510 SATNAV | Sunroof | RVC | BT | MDI

Yes im very happy with the DNA tune. They are a sponsor on this forum. I'll PM you with specific details as to not further de-rail this thread. The dyno at Revesby was good - i just went along to the dyno day with about 30 other Golf's last month. I wanted to run my car on the same dyno / same conditions / same day etc as other Golf's to see how mine performed with the DNA tune. The Mainline dyno guys certainly had it down pat on that day - there was no time wasted. There were about 60 cars all up that day who ran on the dyno.Originally posted by San Gimignano R View PostThanks. Couldn't find anything on here before. Would have saved a lot of dramas... Was hoping that some Viezu tuned cars would show up at the dyno day, but it wasnt the case.

Performance vs Motorsport?
Can anyone give some detailed comparsion between the two tunes? Are people just using Motorsport all the time, or swapping between the two? Is Motorsport a bit less drivable for everyday use? Are you really giving up much with teh Performance tune?
any thoughts appreciated. thanksGolf R | UG | DSG | 19" Silver | ACC | Leather | Viezu vRace | FIS+ Advanced | View car diary thread

Motorsport is very smooth, the DSG remap clearly helps
Usable as a daily drive
I'd certainly go Motorsport based on the cars I've been in
You can get both and try each but I'd say you will love Motorsport,
It isn't as crazy as suggested in some materialLast edited by Candyman; 08-06-2012, 05:36 PM.8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW

I've never swapped between files. Always run with Motorsport. Car feels great, power is real smooth! I used to have a bluefin tune, but changed a few months ago now. Big difference in power delivery. Admittedly,it did take a few different maps to get it just right. All part of the viezu service, free maps to get it perfect or when upgrading mods...thanks SimonOriginally posted by boltor View PostCan anyone give some detailed comparsion between the two tunes? Any advice on fuel economy of the Motorsport vs stock? (or shouldn't I ask that question...)Golf R | UG | DSG | 19" Silver | ACC | Leather | Viezu vRace | FIS+ Advanced | View car diary thread

You will see significant improvement highway - I personally have seen 7l/100 km in an R with Motorsport. Ideo has on his as well (he posted in another forum)
Almost the same city as stock, better if you drive sensibly (which is hard)
However if you use WOT, it will eat fuel
Pm me if you wantLast edited by Candyman; 09-06-2012, 05:42 AM.8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW
