    I reckon that's start to get very expesnsive if you started fiddling round with gearbox's, incl. custom/aftermarket gears. esp, if you pay some one to do it all!

    If you went too short 3-4 would be a really big jump, and make for poor driving experience imo. & eventually get annoying. let alone resale and having to shift 3 times to get to 40kph in regular driving.

    There are plenty of small mods you can do mickey. Things like cleaning up of the throttle body/plates and cleaning the intake mani are good ideas mickey, imo

      Yeah I quite like the idea of cleaning.... I'm doing a bit of an engine overhaul with my next service too; engine flush, coolant system flush and injector/fuel cleaning. Hopefully it'll run nice and smooth and then I'll have a look at the possible cleaning/DIY options.

              yeah pretty sure its the fact that cylinders 1, 2, 3, 5 are getting around 180psi compression and the 4th is getting around 105psi and the 6th is getting a measly 80ish psi. so my problem is bad compression.
