    I buy a lot of parts off Vortex - have had a few dodgy sellers, but always got my parts in the end. I feel bad not buying locally, but there's just no point - I know I've saved thousands over the years by hunting around. One of the main issues is people that don't know what they're selling, so it's best to do your own background research first

    The ABA OBD2 cars had an alarm but not an immobiliser, and AFAIK, the OBD1 had no anti-theft system at all - at least, I see no provision for it in the spare early harness I have here (unless it was cut out...).

    You have to bear in mind that a MAF sensor isn't ideal for a turbo system, but we are only talking low power levels in the scheme of things, which's a different ball game compared to high-end Jap tuning etc... our cars don't weigh 1.5 tonne, though
