Put the WaveTrac equipped box back in the car today, getting ready for Phillip Island on the 18th of July.

Great day today. The rain held off until after lunch.

Lot's of spills and thrills today, lots of offs all over the place.

I'm playing about with some new data logging stuff, it'll take me a day or so to figure out what to do with the data.

Heres a few laptimes for rounds 2, 3 &4 . I had GPS issues with this system especially for round one. I've got more accurate data from a quicker logger coming.







There's video to come as I edit it up over the next couple of days.

Some pretty good lap times around the 2:11 mark.

Big excitement though was managing to wind the needle just off the 120 MPH speedo.

GPS says I hit 189Km/h.

Yep got real greasy. I spun out and had to be towed out of the mud.

A clubman went into a tyre wall seconds before I went off.

Bummer! Better getting bogged than bending your ride though. Thats the only problem with the Island, the weather is a little crazy.

Looks like I placed! There were only 3 cars in my class, so I got third!

The first 3 rounds were pretty good, the cars were well classed and I had some clear runs.

Track was cold but dry. Didn't use the brakes as much or as hard as I do at Sandown.

LSD is a big help.
