Going AWD will obviously require grafting in the syncro golf floor tunnel and boot floor. Lots of work there.
I thought about that too but its major work, and probably easier to just find an actual syncro body to use (why build something you can buy blah blah).
You wont wanna push these engines beyond 300hp before strengthening rods, pistons, etc. I just put bigger injectors in and tweaked the Haltech up a bit.
At 280hp it spins wheels chucking back gears at 100kph on a dry road on road tyres, and even gingerly tiptoeing the throttle in the wet, its just like a dog on Lino!!
People keep egging me on to go for more power but why? First i need more grip.
