it is the agu motor, only thing is it will be run by a microtech standalone ecu. I want to get it in and driving, and then probably in another year after that i will pull it out and rebuild. Will probably be looking at a gt3071r to go on it, so couldnt really justify spending the extra money for a S3 engine when in the end i am after way more than the k04 could give me.

Sanding panels back getting them dead straight, and will attack the rust with a mig welder on the weekend!

Two thick coats of primer filler and now blocking it down gradually. Seems to be working well, nice and flat

                            Awesome!!

Would love to come for a look. LMK if you want any help/advice.

Btw, my AMK engine puts out around 260bhp thru the front wheels at the moment and unless you run hot, sticky race rubber you'll never be able to put down any more power unless you go syncro awd, or like 9" rubber on the front!!!! It just spins away!

I nearly went the disco potato route too until i realised i couldnt even put down the power i already had.

                            Great fun though!

                            Cheers,
                            Wade

What size / diameter wheels are you running? I have bought 8.5 inch x 16 rims and put 215/40 kumho ecsta street/track tires on them, they should be enough anyway for the stock motor. I think by the time I will pulling the motor backout to pump the power up, maybe the 4wd would be something worth looking it. Even with less than 300hp it would be heaps better
