Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Popped around to Josh's and gave him a hand in his never ending quest to drive the Mk1 to a car show some time this century.
After a few comical setbacks the motor is in and running.
Needs a good tidy up and there's a few things to finish off, but we should have another MK 1 at DOVW this weekend.
Yoga? I don't recall seeing this procedure in the Bentley manual!
Josh hurt himself meditating, his head expoded.
(At least that how I choose to recall it.)

3 cheers for Peter, Mate, you deserve a medal. Its fellas like you that make the VW scene. I am finding it very hard reading all the DOVW stuff here as I only wish I could have made it over there to catch up with the friends I have made on the forum. Have fun people!
Just one thing, I find it very easy to drop the motor and gearbox in one piece rather lifting it out.
