    Re: BMW e30 325i

Thanks. Now I'm in a stable job and will have more spare money to blow, the thread should get much more interesting in the future

A 325is would be very nice, good luck finding one

Im happy with the breaks at the moment, but will check that out later for sure. Might have to look into different brake boosters soon, as am playing with the idea of itbs (to add too a monster engine build), but we'll see what happens.

Those seats are amazing. Looking at seat options at the moment too, even a set of e30 sports seats that match the rest of the interior would be awesome, not easy to find though!

Don't worry, even though I'll be off the pplates in a couple of weeks (should have been months ago if I didn't lose the license) and the possibility of turbo is there, it will be staying NA.

I'm working at a performance engine rebuilding place now, so if it works out here I might be able to build it myself once I learn more about the machining side of things. I have a plan in mind, but wont give details yet. But basically I want to milk every every last horse power these m20s have to offer without going down the FI route

Hhm. Any interest in the VR6 lumps?

Don't get too excited haha, won't be happening for a while yet. Will be starting to piece together parts though. Lots of other things planned for the meantime though. Watch this space

Got a few links around from when I had mine - shell had too much rust so moved on.
Hopefully you'll find at least one of them helpful

Thanks for the links! Think I've already read through most, but will have a good look when I'm home from work.

I'm planning on going a step further than all the 2.7/2.8 strokers though, at least 500cc further And I'll be piecing the kit together myself, some oem stuff from later models, some aftermarket, and some custom

                      Re: BMW e30 325i

Not many photos, as they would be very boring photos.... but over the weekend I set out to fix the central locking which had never worked, so I could then simply splice in a remote locking kit, which I have had sitting around for months but kept putting off installing, as I knew fixing the bmw system first wouldn't be fun.

After spending a day testing things and trying to fix up the oem central locking with no luck, I decided to get rid of it all together and replace it with my own system. Installed new aftermarket actuators in the doors and boot (still need to install the fuel filler cap one, but that will be easy), made up my own wiring loom, pulled out most of the interior and wired it up. Kept it pretty simple so if anything is to go wrong in the future it will br easy to track down and fix. Works a dream! None of my own cars have had remote locking before, I sat there for hours making it lock and unlock, watching the indicators flash :')

Honestly you don't want this paint haha, it takes a lot of work to keep looking good. Have been trying out a new line of detailing products lately though and am loving them, has taken the paint to another level
