Hmm cool thanks chaps.
Any info on voltage/wiring required to fit these? ie: can i just solder up a terminal from the existing pump harness and run it with whatever voltage supply the mk2 has??

Righto so a little update.
Got this:
Bosch 044 fuel pump. Mounted it up and the car felt the sameso i then stuck on a hose and ran it direct from the fuel tank so it was sucking straight out of there to the injectors.
It felt good but not that different really. It's booked in for the dyno on the 11th so the truth will be revealed then.
I found out that the mk2 GTI fuel lines are the same size as the S3 ones so no drama's there.
I've also put four new BREMI coilpacks in for good measure and tried a couple of different N75's. No change noticed.
Tommymac runs his setup basically the same as mine (the 044 sucking straight thru the in-tank pump) & he has no fuel delivery issues at all, so it's looking like the map again.
So, we'll see what happens on the 11th!!
In other news, I put some new Lemfoerder strut top mounts in to try and stop the knocking rattle in the drivers front suspension. It didn't fix the issue, but it was just as well i changed them anyway!!! Old Febi ones were totally collapsed...
And these are about to go in the front.
Also polished up the RS001's tonight ready for DOTVWLast edited by GOLFBALLS; 01-12-2010, 11:10 PM.-1990 Mk2 GTI 5-door with AMK 20vt (260hp @ wheels)

Awesome, glad to see you're still heaps stuck in!
Even though you're still having issues with fuel. Is it possible to run tommymacs file, and see if that works?

Got the car in at golfwagen and had this put in;
Hopefully that oughta stop the engine movement!! It's the extra stiff mount.
And some crappy night pics of the tidied bay after I extended the air filter using bunnings pvc pipe and crackle paint!!!:
I also got joe to put in the greenstuff front pads. They are actually so thick that they make the BBS hit against the calipers now, so he's had to put the BMW BBS (the painted ones) on the front as they are able to clear the calipers.
Has anyone else on here had this problem using these pads with regular mk3 calipers? It's a bit odd considering they are a direct OE replacement.
Anyway, I get the car back tomorrow and i'll see how the brakes feel...Last edited by GOLFBALLS; 09-12-2010, 11:36 PM.-1990 Mk2 GTI 5-door with AMK 20vt (260hp @ wheels)
