well done! and i bet you paid for that before the A$ crashed!!
Nah, that's what sucks! If i'd paid for it when i first contacted them i wouldve saved about $300
I was spewing!
I'm so frickin broke doin this rebuild
I wish i was a smarty pants like peter or preeny and could do lots of it myself I read their rebuild threads and feel pretty humbled, as mine's more or less a "chequebook" resto.

Just the mounts. According to ETKA the passat, golf2, G60, later polo's etc all have the same rubber mounts????
I think i'll just get some firm aftermarkets. The way i drive and the power it'll have, those stock mounts dont stand a chance
I'd go for a Golf Mk2 deisel gearbox mount mate, alot stiffer than the standard one according to Darren at www.g-werks.com
Have you had a qoute from VW over in Perth ? Maybe worth a go.
Don't waste your money on the Vibratechnics engine mounts - I bought one for my Ibiza ages ago and promptly sold it to be replaced by a Turn2 kit... which did the same job for a fraction of the money.
That few hundred bucks can go towards better braking
Dude, where'd ya gitchya turn2 mounts?
