I did my garage in a 2 part epoxy, applied it with a roller with my dad and it only took us about 2 nights. Ours would be about the same size as yours I reckon.

The company I worked for earlier in the year did specialist flooring. As you said acid etch and/or a grind is essential for a long lasting floor in an industrial workplace.

As foff said the 2 part can be done at home with some rollers very easily, its just a matter of mixing up and applying.

If ya want it to look funky you can add glass for grip and make it pop.

Well, to be fair the workshop we did was massive. We did it with rollers and it was Very time consuming. A floor if this scale should be a lot easier.

Def recommend an epoxy, you'll regret it later if you don't, especially if you plan on working on any cars in there.

Just having a quick squiz at the m2, you should be looking around $900 materials for a decent 3 coat epoxy system.
It should be done over 3 days minimum, 1 day to pressure wash, 2nd to apply sealer and first top coat, 3rd for final topcoat.

Slab layed yesterday. Oh hells yeah!







They're going to come back to run some cuts through it and render the edge beam to pretty it up, too. I thought that was pretty sweet. As always, you get what you pay for.

interested to see how/where the cladding finishes at ground level.
we would pour slabs post cladding going up to give it a more dust/vermin tight finish

They finish about 80mm below the edge, I think.

I've heard they do them that way down south (VIC and SA). We don't really have dust or vermin problems here. The only issue is keeping the joint warm in winter. Hahaha.
