Engine/Gearbox:
Exhaust manifold gaskets
Intake manifold gasket
Dipstick
Non-aircon belt
Coolant temp sensor
Belt tensioner - V5 tensioner is different
Water pump - didn't need replacing but may as well
SAI blockoff
SMF and clutch - 12v vr6 parts
CV boots
General:
Banjo bolts
FSB bolts - lost these when I removed mine
Cloth webbed tape - plan on moving some things as my battery is in the spare wheel well
Red split wire loom - make the coil leads prettier as the intake manifold is going gloss black
Suspension etc:
Urethane real coil spring isolators
Urethane control arm bushings - This and below item are wheel hop eliminator kit
Urethane dog bone inserts
Outer tie rod ends
Rear axle bushings - need to take half of it off to change one of the brackets, so may as well
Upper strut bearings
Ball joints
H&R 26mm FSB - need to put one in as I chopped the old one out when I was lower - plan on getting the 28mm adjustable RSB at a later date to help with the known understeer
Ball join extender/camber control
Powerflex black strut top bushing - sick of replacing the standard tops so often (one is already cactus at 3000km's)
Brakes:
Front - already have 312mm - going drilled and slotted rotor
Rear - drilled and slotted rotor - pads to come at a later date
Braided lines front and rear
Tools - need to get the job done somehow:
Spreader tool
Long reach triple square set
Brake piston retraction set
Tie rod separator
Torque wrench
Other:
Drivers side engine loom (with 4 o2 sensors ><)
Drive by wire throttle body
Drive by wire accelerator pedal
2x injector plugs, one is missing one is broken
Reason for all the suspension parts - being low ****s your bushings, not low anymore, weird clunks, track time.
Track time will come after new coilovers & RSB, looking at H&R - hopefully from a local source as postage is killer from O.S - not to mention import tax.
Hopefully this will give you people some insight as to what's going to happen apart from engine side of things.
Confirmed that I've got another car to use from tomorrow - get to start pulling the Golf to pieces
If you say so , may need to remove the dash for DBW conversion, checking if someone has a loom available.
Removing the dash is not so bad - removing the steering wheel will be a first for me and apparently a pita but the rest is straight forward Dash removal - Bora - uk-mkivs
But at least if I swap the dash loom, I can assume everything will be working without swapping wires around

The steering wheel removal isn't too bad Matty. I sat and watched Pete swap out Megan's ****ty one for a Bora Sport one in 5 minutes. Provided you have the threesquare tool and some patience, it's fairly agreeable.
