        Top stuff!

I know what you mean about keeping all those little bits.. It's a nightmare when you can't find them 6 months later. Haha.

Thanks mate I'm keeping it as totally original as possible, which is important for keeping its value in the future as well.

HA HA its so funny how dizzy you get from turning around to look for little bits all the time.
but i got an exciting little deliver in the mail... New stickers! not original stickers of course as that would be unheard off these days
but they are made from material which is as close a match as possible ,
the were hard to put on as I'm not an expert at this but they ended up being 98% straight
I had dad come around for a visit and we took her for a spin around the block.
we deffinetly woke up any seeping babies around lillyfield and i think the joy ride counts as an early fathers day present.
afterward he said are you trying to convince me to buy it, he was pretty excited, but i hadn't said anything the car just did the talking lol
IM really looking forward to getting her out to do a couple of day trips and run the engine in,
          enjoy the pics

put in a massssssive effort on the weekend to finish sanding and polishing

          cool pic of the bonnet

it would be cool to call it pisstomatic because you could be totally inebriated and still take sick pics haha with histomatic

Mail...still waiting on front GTI badge and a few other goodies

          in the works

Cars looking great, the hard work you have put into it shows. I would buy if I wasn't being all mature and sensible saving for bricks 'n' morter.

                                Nice looking Mk1 GTI mate!

I really think you should drive it somewhere where there's a bit more space and get a load of photos of it, walk 360 around it and snap away, get the engine bay and interior, the whole lot. Bet you'd get some interest if you done that, plus, i'd love to see more of it
