ha ha :-P yea that would be nice but now its raining till sat LOL

Have been doing a fair bit of reassembling,
The original engine was rebuilt New bearings, Seals, Rings full bottom end and then for the head i sourced a freshly rebuilt head with
a techtonics cam and an adjustable cam gear. Anything that needed replacing has been replaced cv boots bearings rotors ect...
Its come together nicely although slowly for the amount of time i have been in the garage( im starting to think the world is made of concrete and maybe the sky isnt blue and the sun is actually one big fluorescent Light!) haha trying to remember where i put this or that, but nothing like a good clean up to get my bearings again. I got it started on sat! but cant run it for any length of time as i need to properly set up the coolent system.
I need another radiator now as the one i had doesnt have an outlet for the water recirculation back to the main reservoir, That and a shortlist of other things and it might not be to long till this baby is on the road.

I have All five original wheels they could use some refurb attention so i have gone with the bbs for now not a bad trade off anyway
with some king springs i thought it might sit a little bit lower but still, Idealy coilovers would be the best but their needs to be some funleft over for the new owner whoever that might be

Cheers mate and single grill!! I know! i like that better to, but i know that this one came with a double grill so I'm trying to keep it looking like it did when it was first bought. At least it's easy to find a good single grill il probably sell it with a single in case someone wants to change it.

I fixed the Holden I'm going back to vw for a daily, so much easier to work on!

Got into it today with 2000 grit and the polisher

also got the interior together, it was so great to finally see it go in
more pics to come as i finish the interior of fully and get the seats shampooed

Im sourcing the side stickers now and a set of side stripes as well as a new sunroof handle (the knobs missing)
tomorrow i hope to get the bumpers on and the front duckbill.
I also have to connect up all the lights ect and make sure they work as well.
IM realy impressed with the wiring loom as it has not been hacked into and is pretty much untouched bar where people tend
to hi jack power for a cd player instillation.
would be nice if i could get my hands on an old radio.

Sold the holden combo after that ordeal and suspected a timing chain replacement not far of as well,
i should have known better than to touch a Holden haha

Not sure about the cam size yet but the head came from a fellow dubber Jason who swaped his 1.8 k jet for a G60 conversion

Nice work on the paint, looks great.

Those trims could use a spruce up and it'd look a million bucks.
