After about 15hours of fitting, it's in and operational. But, I'm totally pooped after a long night and day, but I only came out with a cut on my eye brow and a few cuts on my hands.
It's not fully complete... A few things still need tidying up... Such as guages and interior re-fit... But, the fittings and struts seem to be holding decent pressure...for now!
Massive thanks are owed to Chris for all his help too, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have got it in so quickly!
It's fun to play around with the controls and the car handles quite nicely on the road, except for a few knocks with tank mounts and stuff, nothing but an easy fix though!
I might take my new HD video cam around and post something on youtube next week if dakkas wants me to!
After this exercise, I'd definitely fit bags to any car that I'd want to fit nice wheels to, including new cars! Hell, when I finish uni in 9 months time and get a real job, I'll put bags in a mk6 gti or Hyundai Genesis(if we ever get them here) for sure!
