      • wow mate, looks mean -as!

i thought the first photo was a p-chop for kicks, but gee that looks way cool.

i guess you can enjoy the diesel a bit more now that you can conserve momentum around corners

cheers. I dont really know what i'll be doing with it yet. if its good structurally i'll use it as a winter car and keep the '80 off the salty roads. I'll get pics up when I collect it on saturday!

Looking forward to seeing some full car pics with your new wheels on! Its good to see something other than bbs' although the borrowed ones looked amazing on your car

            • cheers for all the comments guys. a bling set of wheels is deffo a worthwhile investment, improves the look of the car so much, brings smile to my dial when I see it!

I want to get some full size proper shots soon, get someone with a DSLR, so they're decent shots at the least.

yes, i did also buy that green mk 1. look for a new thread soon.

                  • pulled out my thumb, finally got some full size shots. I'm super happy with how it turned out, can't thank Dom enough for his help.

Looking to install some remote central locking this week too, if I can find the time.

I think I'll lower the front another 10mm too.

i wasn't a fan of those wheels when they were advertised but they look supersexy on the car.
really sets it off nicely against the white and the chrome

haha, yea it does, IMHO anyways :d

It looks so good at night (and when it's clean )

havn't pushed the tyres yet, still got the vibration. Drove it the other day in the wet, and i didn't plow through anything fences or anything, so dare I say they aren't the rubbish we used to hear about.

re the vibration. Talked to Tim the other day, it's probably not a CV, so the hunt continues.
