    • yes yes you should preeny.

actually maybe not. yours has more of a 'racing' feel & plastic bars, so it'd probably look better with them imo. if you had chrome, or early gti style bars, you could pull off arch-less probably.

but lets face it, that's the least of your problems atm! hurry up and finish the 16V, cause currently, my car is quicker than yours!

                      • Just thought I'd bump this up so you'll know that the project isn't dead or complete! still plenty of things I can do.

I've already started a list, and it's got over 2 dozen things on it, a couple improvements, a couple repairs, and a couple of mods! Hopefully this summer will be rather productive.

                        watch this space.

                            • This thread isn't dead!

Slowly been putting things together, and gathering parts. The A**hole running into my car kinda bummed me a bit, but I've found a silver lining.

Here are some parts, that will hopefully go on next week, along with some upgraded & renewed brake components. Just making final modifications to a stop light switch & i'll be ready to go.

                              Pic, cause it'll happen.

And a pic of the damaged, for those who missed it:
