Not sure about mating boxes to engines. But if you go the G50 you will need to get the box modified to run in true middy config (I believe it needs to be run upside down and if you want it to survive it needs oil line mods) = $$$ and only a real option if you need to put silly power through it IMO.

The passat and A6 longitudinal design 'should' just bolt up with flywheel, clutch and starter.

Well a new used 5speed Audi box is headin over from states...its all go for full adaption.....

ok....i have the ingredients for a longditunial Racecar setup....Thanks to 034Motorsport landed on my doorstep...

SPEC Clutch kit setup(500ft lbs)
Aluminum Flywheel 034Motorsport developed(longditunial)
FWD Audi A4 Gearbox
Vr6 longditunial starter,touareg adaptor plate
I have all the bearings clips etc

this will mount with a 034Motorsport adaptor plate
To a 24v 2.8 VR6

Theres development choice with using a R32 head or sticking with the 2.8 head....???
