Only briefly. They said the shakedown went well, with times mid-field, which is where they expect to be, as they've had less than 150k experience in the car so far.

Congrats to Marius & Gerald on a great start. I was able to spend a few minutes with Marius in the service park. He said he was happy with how he finished the day.

I have a video of them coming through the water, will post up later. Will be very keen to see when this round is broadcast. Watching a Rally in the forest is tough, you see them for 10 seconds and then wait another 5 minutes for the next car. But it was still a great experience and would love to give it a full weekend next year if Marius races the mighty Polo again

Not the finish that we all wanted - centre driveshaft broke on the last stage of the rally They made it back to service so it is counted as a finish. Still a pretty amazing debut of a new car and team. Well done guys, it was a pleasure meeting you all, cant wait to see what you do in the next round.
