Just go to one of Wakefiled's "Speed Off The Streets" days -- see the calendar on www.wakefieldpark.com.au -- it also has all the details you need. Nothing special needed as long as you have a roadworthy, well-maintained car.

You don't even need that much. The last day I went to saw a couple of little 80 something Holden Barina hatches stripped to nothing but shells, one was a work in progress and was still road registered, the other had everything from lining to seats and trim removed and a roll cage thrown in.

There is a tech inspection, but it's more about being safe than anything else. Having said that, if you car is road registered you *should* be right. Just make sure you remove any rubbish you have lying round the car.

March 08 is the target. One Wednesday in there I'll be hitting the track with a few mates. All are welcome.

Ive been doing sprints with BMW club NSW for a while.......its a cheap and easy way to get on the track, plus your not racing so you shouldnt hit anyone
