but in all seriousness, quozl can help you there.
if you want to do things properly, light weight wheels/semi slicks, good suspension (coilovers)+swaybars, make sure you have enough pad left as you'll cook right through them pretty quickly, helmut obviously etcWhat’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Most cases you need:
**a roadworthy car
** a secondary bonnet strap
** a battery location sticker
**a securely mounted fire extinguisher
**a helmet
**appropriate clothing and footwear, long sleve top and pants.Last edited by ausgolfer; 07-12-2007, 04:55 PM.

Track days are great mate... Low cost and heaps of fun, get to use your car and test and learn more driving skills... Just make sure u have plenty of meat of your pads and all your fluids are topped up...
As for rubber just over inflate your street tyres so they baloon a little so when u brake the tyres moves and has maximum braking surface on the road...
Oh and watch out for want to be drifters in your mirrors

all im doing is a one off race. im just getting all my mates together with random cars. Type S, Astra SRi, Golf TDI, R32 Skyline, Accord Euro,
Type R, MK4 GTI. im actually thinking of doing it in the winter season though, i really dont want to be thrashing my car on a 35 deg day. i think i might give Oran Park a call and see what they offer.2004 GTI, GIAC, DOWNPIPE

Just go to one of Wakefiled's "Speed Off The Streets" days -- see the calendar on www.wakefieldpark.com.au -- it also has all the details you need. Nothing special needed as long as you have a roadworthy, well-maintained car.2015 White German SUV
