Yeah Guy that was me, I spotted you guys aswell in the Tiguan and the R (great time/speed).
I'm sure there's a 13.5 in mine with lower pressure and proper warming of tyres, and full use of launch control.

Yep Ben, DSG , Alan - only one way to do clutch tests , Fixxxer, just need lots & lots of runs to try different things, FWD is always tricky! Shame it was so busy out there.

Update:

The little GTI on Wednesday night became the WORLDS FASTEST MK6, laying down a 10.992 second 1/4 mile at over 133mph - fastest ever MPH by over 4mph.

Vehicle specs:

Off the shelf APR Stage 3+ kit, including APR Intercooler, APR OPS system, APR HPFP, APR RSC Exhaust.
Stock engine with APR pistons & APR Rods

SSP Clutch packs in the DSG
Harding Performance DSG Software

Modifications for the drags from its street legal trim:

Removal of the passenger seats & spare tyre
Fitting drag slicks (15")
Removal of catback exhaust

The fuel ran was Sunoco GT260+, and unleaded "race" fuel that is compatible with street cars & catalytic converters.

There is no boost controllers, there is no water or methanol injection.

The vehicle runs stock VW boost control & sensors, the vehicle also runs the stock diverter valve and is a daily driven car.

This vehicle was built entirely in our workshop in Coorparoo, and was calibrated in house by our tech's with the assistance of APR's technical team.

This car (in street trim) is completely legal & modification certified.

That run was probably the best video, but not the record run. Imagine that someone may have stuffed up the video of the record - forgot to press record???

I think that should have been stated, IF that is the case. Otherwise it just looks suss, here is our video but we cut it just before the time is shown and then we show a time slip. Suddenly there is no proof the two are linked?

I don't get it Fab. I have seen that thread but that slip could be for any car. I just don't understand why the video has been cut on such an awesome time and no comment from guy. Particularly as they have posted other complete videos with times in the past.
