Roof lining mk 7

Hey guys does anyone know how to take the roof lining off a golf 7?

Need to take it off to give it a proper clean and remove stains, cleaning it while it's still on is not an option.

I know there's clips under the hidden plastic things on the handle bars (whatever they're called) but I just can't wrap my head around how to get them out.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

As an ex detailer im curious as to how such a new car would have a roof lining that is so stained it needs to be removed?

I'm not really sure what happened to it I lent it to my brother for about a ear and it got back to me with cigarette ash stain and somehow a footprint on the lining??????????
I've tried oxygen boost and steam cleaning it and it won't budge
