Only problem with tyre foam is that dust loves to stick to it.

I use this stuff called "forever black" on my mouldings, it's got pigment and stays black for months, even with weekly washing.

Hey Alex..i used waterless carwash from those people whose name escapes me..i also used cans of tyre foam on everything black and window cleaner on the windows and rims.. Now the paint is quite slippery and should stay clean for a while..

interesting... I use AutoGlym Bumper Care since I can't find the bumper black. Works really well although it doesn't last very long. Hopefully I will just paint those bits soon anyway.

So you had a good go with the waterless stuff... I can't bring myself to use it. I just can't get past the rubbing dirt into the car thing. I know a few mates who swear by it.

I keep meaning to go by when he is going over it to see how it "feels" to use. Really though, you can't beat the old bucket and sponge/mitt.

Yeah i thought that too, but water restrictions are hardcore up here..no washing your car ever...so if u clean it with water once..u can keep going with the waterless stuff.
