Would something like Turtle Wax Swirl and Scratch remover work on the acrylic headlight, and act as the replacement for the Menzerna polishes? I've got some lying around and would rather try that than purchase a whole bottle of Menzerna. I take it that sanding and polishing by hand would work just as well, albeit take a little longer?
