I've managed to get hold of a Columbus unit for a good price - is it simple to install? Any specialist tools required? Thanks.

Only physical tools required are trim removal tools and torx driver.
But car will likely need to be recoded using vcds.

Just be a bit careful with the facia plates...
In the all the VW's I have done the facia plate is the same between the RCD and the RNS so it's a quick and simple swap out...
I know SFA about the Yeti, but the last Skoda I did had a difference facia plate for the basic radio vs the nav unit. Getting the right replacement part was a PITA and took the dealer three attempts to get the correct one
In the one I did they just left the facia plate off while waiting for a new one, bit I thought it was worth mentioning.

I'd pull out the old part and check what part is currently in there, ie match it to one of the above first to give some confidence that the one you think you need is the correct one.
(FYI in the Octavia I did (I think it was an Octavia anyway) there was two or three different styles (depending on what sort of AC you had) then on top of that a different variant for each audio option + then colours)
