New Nav map available in Skoda update portal

Thanks guys - gave it another try tonight to unpack the downloaded zip file directly in Windows, and it seems to be working.

But also waiting to d/l the latest version, which appears to be a more recent version than the one I had d/l a few weeks ago.

When installing into the car, will it install ALL the countries data that has been d/loaded? I notice on the previous version that it has data for whole of world, rather than just Australia/NZ, which realistically, would be the only information I need installed on my car.

I just updated to version 062 2017. The maps are definitely newer because it now has the Dingly Bypass near Clayton VIC.

One oddity is in Nav->Setup->Fuel Options->Preferred Fuel, where previously it had the fairly useless single option of 'BP', now that's not there. The options for fuel stations are 155/0, 157/0, 150/0 etc. I've no idea what they've done there...

Updated my gps to 062 2017 yesterday. Some local road changes have been incorporated but not all... maybe they will be included in next May's update.

Did you check the Fuel Options -> Preferred Fuel screen to see if it's stuffed like mine (see 4 posts above)?

I also managed to successfully update my maps to 62 2017 this morning. This has been my third update since picking the car up a little over 12 months ago. There are definite improvements in the mapping as last month I was camping in the Flinders Ranges and the map went blank beyond Wilpena Pound despite there having been roads out there for over 100 years. My portable Tom Tom with world maps has always shown these roads. A quick check this morning showed that the mapping now seems complete for this area at least. So one happy customer here at least!

I managed to update to latest maps yesterday also. Never noticed any setup menu it though, will have a look at these fuel settings people are mentioning.

Can't determine anything different about the maps, as I'm in Brisbane and haven't been anywhere yet that I noticed was not mapped.

On the Nav screen in the car, the Setup button is on the bottom right. It's where you choose route preferences etc.

Yes, it's the same as yours. Haven't a clue what it means. Next time I'm out I will select one of the options and see if anything happens.

I also updated mine over the weekend, went smoothly. Will checkout the preferred fuel bug on the way home tonight.
