I got them from GSA Suspension at Slacks Creek, i can't remember the price but they were more expensive than the KWs.

      • I have a good thing going with Luke at autoinstruct, he is very open for group buys.

They do front and rear H&R for 800$, group buy would obviously get some $$ off

I'm new to changing sway bars for road cars, so open to all feedback.

Adjustable would be nice, ie road/track setting.

        • Changed my oil this morning, the new 2.0 EA888 3.0 has the lamest sump plug I have ever come across!
It's a plastic bung, easily removed with a large flat blade screw driver and is located only by a small plastic tang which takes very little torque to overcome
Not overly filled with confidence having spent years of changing oil with a proper torqued metal plug and copper crush washer

            • Aren't those plastic sump plugs supposed to be renewed every fill?

Plug was marked from the last time it was removed (dealer service) and will be going to the dealer for its next yearly service in approx 2.5 months so will keep an eye on it

                • +1 for KW
I had the V2 on my Caddy Maxi, having tried other options on an older Caddy, they were much better.
Prestige and Performance supplied them, they probably fit more VW suspension than anyone else in town
They also did V2s on my Caravelle

I won't have a problem replacing it, providing they are as cheap as a crush washer
If they are $15 upwards words will be said

                        • Played removalists on Monday.
Trailer was a little overkill for one two-seater couch, but hey, I didn't pay to borrow it!
Trailer much larger than car - semi trailer mode engaged.

                            Hey Fizz
Have you changed the Front Sway bar?
                            just the rear?
                            You still running stock Dampers/springs

If only the Rear, how's the front roll vs the rear roll, as the roll moment wont be very well 'tuned', or are the MK3 a stiff chassis....

                            Cheers

I've never heard of that brand before I'll have to look into them. Awesome, a sway bar is definitely on the wishlist haha.

Currently Stock Suspension only rear Sway bar replaced.
car is alot more neutral through corners when pushed. where as before I would feel the rear roll alot being a longer car. You can get matching front and rear sway bar kits, but I've never felt it necessary with my Mk4, Mk5 GTI's and even with the Octavia RS being sports models their chassis/suspension is stiffer/sportier to begin with.
