I wouldn't even know what revision my DV was. I just pulled the old one out & put it all back together. I had the diaphragm style.

I'll look back at my photos to see if i can see the part number, but my stock DV (2010 Mk6 GTI) was either the C or G revision. It was a diaphragm style. The DV on my friends MK5 GTI was the same one.
EDIT - bit hard to say with 100% certainty, but it looks like a G to me.
Regardless of the revision version, the solenoid part of the DV (which is the only part you keep when using the GFB product) is unchanged. It was only the piston/seal part of the DV that changed with each revision while they tried to find a reliable solution. The GFB replaces the piston/seal part anyway.
