I'm pretty sure carpet mats are standard.. I bought the rubber ones so maybe ask for them instead. There is also a reversible (carpet/plastic) boot mat which according to the brochure I have is standard on all models.

What nickd mentioned is correct. Maybe ask for rubber matts and mud flaps if you already don't have them. Most dealers give a full tank of fuel. IMO you're not really getting anything at all from what the dealer has proposed.Walking Contradiction...

full tank of fuel should be standard. OTOH 200km will only be 20L tops so ask them for a $50 - $100 Coles (or whatever) gift card to buy more fuel.
carpet mats are standard in the vRS & not worth that much for the other cars. ($100/set???)carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Yeah that's what I thought. Cheers
Edit, Spoke to them and they offered to deliver next week if we could wait, well after talking to the better half she wouldn't mind making a day trip out of it so we're taking a train down and driving back and I'll have my Octavia this weekend.Last edited by tenyearguarantee; 29-07-2015, 01:06 PM.Vehicle: Octavia RS162 Steel Gray Wagon, Tow Bar, 18" Black Pack & Tech Pack

I picked up my TSI RS Combi last week and it's been an awesome drive. Love the panaromic sunroof and the sense of space it gives to the car.
Fuel economy has been awesome for a new car with less than a 1000kms. Been averaging around 8.5L/100kms based on the onboard computer which isn't far off the Focus ST we are looking to sell.
Used the heated seats (we have the comfort pack) a few times with the cold nights and mornings in Melbourne.
There was a buzzing sound somewhere in the pillar behind the driver when I was doing a 3 point turn but not too worried for now.
Friends have been very impressed with the car and comparing against a friends 3 series wagon, the RS is very good value.

All good, bit of rain, wind and lots of loud music. Initial thoughs, car more responsive than demo I drove. No lag. The ride was comfortable (very happy about this) on the 18 inch wheels , road noise less than the new Mazda 6 wagon and a great deal less than my wife's maxima (older model, with sport suspension, 18 inch wheels, even with new shockers the maxima caused me serious back pain). Fuel consumption around 8L/100km, this with me running in the engine while going uphill from Geelong to Ballarat. Columbus-canton system sounds great. Played hi def flac files from 64gb sdcard. Love the grey metal colour. Really enjoyed the trip home. I hope you have just as much if not more fun with your VRS tomorrow. Hehe cheers mate, I've not long been home with mine - need to buy another SD Card for all my tunes aswell (or pinch one from the DSLR in the short term).
LOVE it! I know it's less power than my old Mazda 3 MPS, yet it feels alot sharper and responsive.

A very sharp looking car SkodaVIC . The black pack looks better on the Vrs compared to the standard trim. Have fun playing with all the gadgets. I actually got the snowflake alarm this morning warning about icy roads. Cool althought the heated seats were even better in the icy conditions.Last edited by sharpmarble; 31-07-2015, 06:47 PM.Skoda Octavia Elegance Combi | metal grey | sunroof | tech pack | comfort pack | auto tailgate | DSG | 132TSI | MY15.5| ICE SCRAPER | delivered 30 July 2015.

Not long to go Tenyearguarantee , very exciting, they do look even nicer when it's your car your are walking to. My colleagues were all quite interested in the Skoda, got two of the tallest (6foot plus)to sit in the back and front and both found the car a very comfortable place to be in. Enough headroom even with the sunroof.Last edited by sharpmarble; 31-07-2015, 06:45 PM.Skoda Octavia Elegance Combi | metal grey | sunroof | tech pack | comfort pack | auto tailgate | DSG | 132TSI | MY15.5| ICE SCRAPER | delivered 30 July 2015.

Picked her up yesterday and put 200km driving around and back home. The thing is fantastic, plenty of power, space, features everything. Very happy with it, now just have to set everything up to my preferences. Well worth the waitVehicle: Octavia RS162 Steel Gray Wagon, Tow Bar, 18" Black Pack & Tech Pack
