If they put it in an AWD (like the new passat) then I'd buy this at the drop of a hat. But front wheel drive will be a waste IMO.

I'm a serious bloke . Back on topic. I tried ECO mode and i'm not a fan. Acceleration is okay for regular traffic duties its the coasting which makes it all weird. As soon as you lift off the throttle it engages neutral, and re-engages a gear when the go peddle is pressed. Its sometimes a smooth process other times a bit clunky. I don't see myself saving too much fuel on my trip to and from work, but maybe other will.

Eco mode seems like a toy. Most people seem to just leave it in normal and drive however they want. Maybe you can use a custom setting and have the gearbox in eco, but throttle in normal?

Edit: boat docked and unloading. Judging by the vins, it appears mostly ambition and ambition+ on this boat. Expect to see lots on carsales soon...

For all of you who received your vRS TSI, just wondering if the car came with a hood silencing panel? Similar to this one - Octavia III - original Skoda Auto,a.s. hood silenting panel : superskoda.com.

The cars I looked at the dealer's didn't have them.
