When I was tracking mine:

You can use wild card searches on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen shipping site to find out similar cars. For example, to search for all MY2015 cars, use a Cargo ID of TMB%F00%. If you want to search for RS wagons, use TMBKE9N%F00%. You will get a list of all the cars matching the search, and can click on the link to find which ship/port. It did take more than 10 days to get on the ship.

Once you get the ship ID, I found the best tracking was with the free FindShip app on Android.

You can verify your version using the VIN, which is decoded roughly like:
1. Region: T
2. Country: M
3. Manufacturer: B
4. Series: K for Octavia III
5. Engine: E for 162kW
6. Restraint: 9 - number of airbags
7. Model: N for Combi
8. Don't know what the next character is for
9. Check Digit: single digit, could be anything
10. Year: F for MY2015
11. Assembly Plant: 0
Serial Number: last 6 digits

For a 1.4TSI Manual Ambition+ wagon (so the VIN lines up with order - if only I could confirm manual. Anyone else have a dsg ambition and can compare checkdigits? What about Gerrycan - you have a manual, whats the first 11 digits of your VIN? (last 6 are the build # so ok to keep that personal)

How many options do you guys have? Mine is 5 if you count tech pack as 1, or 13 if you count the items inside tech pack.

That's very strange. Mine is TMBBE9NE5F0xxxxxx, notice the fourth letter is "B" not "k", and I did use VIN decoder website to check and came back with this " Škoda Octavia III RS 2.0 TSI 162kwmodel year 2015, production number xxxxxx

The entered VIN is valid!"
The question are
1. Why you guys VIN all starts with TMBK but mine starts TMBB? Yet, it seemed legit.
2. The ,letter "N" after number9 indicates combi but mine is sedan DSG.
I REALLY WONDER is this my VIN or the dealer just gave me the wrong one?

Using the following website

Indicates that yours is a sedan. It would've said combi otherwise.

you are right techdave,I have tried to put TMBKExxxxxxxxxxxxx and shows combi, TMBBExxxxxxxxx shows same descriptions but combi which is like what you said " sedan".
I amfeeling better now knowing the car is definitely the specs I ve ordered. Phew!!!!

The seventh and eighth digits/letters indicate the series, ie Octavia III is 'NE' Octavia II is '1Z'. If you do a search on CarSales for instance, the series (1Z or NE) appears as a search criterion.

According to Skoda's website all RS Octavia's come standard with 9 airbags. The VIN decoder says I have 7 airbags and I have ordered a wagon panoramic sunroof. I didn't realise until now that they must omit curtain airbags to allow for the the pano roof (or do they just change the airbag number code to 7 to indicate a pano roofed car?). Your VIN indicates 7 airbags as well ..did you order a pano roof?

Hi just got back from looking over the MY15 Skoda RS Combi white with keyless entry push start, Black Pack and Canton. The VIN is TMBKK9NEIF0025803 but when is searched it came back not valid.

Well we've just put the money down for a standard RS wagon in silver. The only option that it comes with is the auto boot. I found a white wagon at Newcastle with the 19" wheels that I didn't want for $44k and they had a Steel Grey manual there for $46.
We paid $40 drive away
From the ringing around I've done and from hearing other people getting their cars it looks like our order didn't go in when we placed the order back in April. Not happy with the dealer but I'm not going to turn back the $40k price. We'll get the goodies when we order the markIV
We'll pick up the car on Friday.
Next thing to work out is where to get the car rechipped. A different topic I know but any suggestions?

I have asked that How to get RS Chipped Question and no one has done one was the answer. I am referring to the TDI by the way!
