So if I wrote my Octy off today & wanted to get into a Mk3 vRS then it's likely they wouldn't be able to supply & I'd have to trundle off & buy a Mazda6 or something.

Probably VW AU. Dealers are usually pretty happy to add stock to their floor plan. They know about buyer behaviour & folks who like instant gratification.

Both my wife & youngest daughter would prefer to pay $50 for something & get it now than $20 & wait 4 weeks.

VW Aus.
Tis another string they pull, ensuring Skoda doesn't get a strong hold.
If floor stock was readily available, of various configurations, then u'd see a whole lot more skodas on the road.

God I wish the RS had an option for AWD... Would seriously make it a much better car to drive..... I've got stage 2 on my mk2 rs and 1st and 2nd just wants to spin...
