same:same depends on where it's marketed. Supposedly v was added to RS because of Fords use of RS in it's fast productscarandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Came across this very (very) comprehensive review on an Indian website (don't worry, it's in English). Lots of pics and details.

 What Octavia kid said.

No stock of unallocated vehicles for chancers that need a car in any colour or any trim level "right now!"

So if I wrote my Octy off today & wanted to get into a Mk3 vRS then it's likely they wouldn't be able to supply & I'd have to trundle off & buy a Mazda6 or something.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Probably VW AU. Dealers are usually pretty happy to add stock to their floor plan. They know about buyer behaviour & folks who like instant gratification.

Both my wife & youngest daughter would prefer to pay $50 for something & get it now than $20 & wait 4 weeks.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Tis another string they pull, ensuring Skoda doesn't get a strong hold.
If floor stock was readily available, of various configurations, then u'd see a whole lot more skodas on the road.

God I wish the RS had an option for AWD... Would seriously make it a much better car to drive..... I've got stage 2 on my mk2 rs and 1st and 2nd just wants to spin...

Its things like this that might make me go to an A4 instead...
